The new year is upon us, but that doesn’t mean we can’t learn from looking back for a moment. As 2015 came to a close I noticed a number of brands that embraced the holidays and saw great traction with their themed content. For #EAmonthly this time around I thought we’d highlight a few companies that cut through the clutter and stood out by acknowledging the holidays with some creative posts.

If there’s anything you can learn from these examples, it’s that simplicity cannot be overstated. They all feature a succinct message, eye catching image, and a warm tone that ties in perfectly to the holiday spirit.

As we approach the next holiday (is it Valentine’s day yet?) keep these examples in mind when planning your content for social. Just remember to keep it simple, authentic and highly visual and you’re likely to see great engagement from your audience like these brands did.
