SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 15, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dynamic Signal, the industry leader in social advocacy solutions, announces 5 non-profit organizations to receive a free license of their advocacy platform, VoiceStorm, as part of a charitable program called #InfluenceGood.
The goal of the #InfluenceGood program is to help these worthy organizations amplify their social marketing efforts by engaging their employees and supporters as advocates.
The nominated organizations: Meals On Wheels Association of America, San Francisco Marin Food Bank, Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare, KIPP Bay Area Schools, and The Portland Children's Museum were collectively chosen as they all have compelling stories to tell, making them perfect candidates for an advocacy marketing program.
With this help from Dynamic Signal and the use of social media, volunteers, supporters, and employees can help raise awareness to achieve the organizations' mission. The advocacy software can help foster a community, recruit and thank volunteers, engage fundraising and promote donation events. The non-profit organizations' incredibly proud employees can quickly share news, events and requests to their social networks.
"This program, for us, is based on the simple idea of using technology for a good cause. A core value of Dynamic Signal is to give back and we're fortunate to have the opportunity to do so. There is no better way for these organizations to get the word out than having the people who legitimately care about their specific missions be an active voice on social media," says Russ Fradin, CEO of Dynamic Signal.
The #InfluenceGood program was first introduced in June of 2014, when Dynamic Signal asked their own employees and community to nominate local non-profit organizations. In December, the company's "Happy Holidays" message re-promoted the program to complete the nomination process.
Dynamic Signal has years of experience working with cause-based organizations, non-profits and higher education organizations such as; United Nations Foundation: #GivingTuesday, Guide Dogs for the Blind, American Cancer Society, UC Berkeley and Columbia University, to help them amplify awareness to their missions.
